Art is good for your health.
"Arts engagement in our everyday lives can reduce our risk of developing depression, dementia, chronic pain, harmful behaviors, physical decline, even premature mortality."
— Professor Daisy Fancourt, Art Cure
"Kat is a fantastic teacher"
Because she is working on her own practice constantly, therefore her knowledge comes from her own easel. I have learned so much from watching her painting videos, and it also helped me gain the confidence to apply paint to canvas. Highly recommended!
— Joy Liu
Do any of these sound familiar?
![]() |
You're avoiding the thing you love most.Days and even weeks go by and you feel like you haven't showed up for your creativity, or not as much as you would like. |
![]() |
Coming back feels scary. You get a little anxious returning to the studio after a break. |
![]() |
You need accountability.Deep in the core of your being you know you're an artist. You have the supplies. You have the ideas. But somehow time keeps slipping and the work isn't getting made. |
"I was honestly blown away by this course."
Kat went above and beyond with her demos, tutorials, and group support. She modeled good art practices in her own studio and deeply inspired us all.

WHO THIS IS FOR
Before we start the challenge, you'll make a few simple but important decisions:
What will you commit to for 21 days?
- A certain amount of time working on your art?
- A specific format and size you make every day?
- A theme you want to explore, like skies, landscapes, or intuitive doodles?
This challenge is not about learning to make art. You're welcome to try techniques and challenge yourself, but what matters is showing up. If you showed up for five minutes or an hour, you did it.
This is for artists who want to commit to making something, anything, each day and reclaim their studio time.
If you identify as an artist and you're ready to commit, this is for you!
How it works
Follow along daily or choose your own frequency or daily time commitment.
If you drift or skip a day, just jump back in.
There is no falling behind in this challenge because the point is the practice, not the final product.
What if just 21 days jump started your momentum?
What if 21 days gave you a headstart and helped you build momentum you can apply to your professional or personal work?
Because you finally gave yourself permission to show up, consistently, inside a community that's doing it alongside you. Getting comfortable making time for yourself and your art is key. Feeling safe taking up time and space for your art feels like a selfish luxury at first, but over time you learn that you are happier, feel connected to the studio flow, and ideas seem to keep coming and building momentum.
The Spend More Time With Your Art Challenge is a 21-day commitment to your creative practice.
Whether you have ten minutes or a few hours each day, making space for your creativity is possible. This challenge gives you the structure, the accountability, and the community to actually do it.
P.S. This is not a painting course. I'll have a few demos of my process, but feel free to work on your own ideas and creative nudges.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF:
You have a creative practice, or had one in the past, and you want to deepen it.
You've been away from your work and you want a structured re-entry.
You thrive in community and do better when others are doing it alongside you.
this might not be for you if:
You're a complete artist beginner looking for technical instruction. We have other resources for that, or we can point you to other amazing educators.
You want step-by-step painting lessons. We have some bonus demos, but this is about practice, not step by step lessons.
You're not ready to commit 21 days to your creative practice.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of content is inside the challenge?
Daily accountability inside a live community space with Kat for all 21 days. Weekly prompts, ideas, and tips for building a creative habit. Three bonus painting demos showing Kat's process. Inspiration from contemporary painters. Curated supplies and book lists. Meditation and grounding exercises to help you get into the studio. Prompt and subject ideas with examples for the days your mind goes blank.
What is not covered inside the challenge?
This is not a painting course and it does not include technical instruction or step-by-step lessons. You won't be taught how to mix color, handle a brush, or follow a structured curriculum. If you're a complete beginner looking for that kind of foundational teaching, this isn't the right fit, and we're happy to point you toward other resources.
Will I get personalized feedback on my work?
This is a community challenge, not 1:1 coaching. You'll have daily accountability, group support, and Kat showing up live alongside you, but this isn't a space for individual critique or personalized feedback on your pieces. If you're looking for 1:1 guidance, Kat's coaching offers are a better fit for that.
What kind of results can I expect as an engaged member?
If you show up consistently for the 21 days, expect to leave with real momentum in your studio practice, a small body of work you made during the challenge (however small or experimental), more comfort and ease returning to your art after a break, and a clearer sense of what a sustainable daily or weekly practice looks like for you. This isn't about finishing a masterpiece. It's about proving to yourself that you can show up, and building the habit of doing so.
What is your refund policy?
Because this challenge includes lifetime access to all materials and immediate access to the community space upon joining, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds. We encourage you to read through everything on this page so you know exactly what you're joining before you enroll. If you have questions before purchasing, reach out and we're happy to help you decide if this is right for you.
What happens after the challenge ends?
The live community space stays open for the full 21 days and is archived once the challenge ends. You'll keep lifetime access to all the course content, including the prompts, demos, book lists, and grounding exercises, so you can revisit them anytime. The daily accountability and live community interaction are only available during the active 21-day window. If you miss this round, the next cohort opens in the fall.
